This Staffordshire flatback figurine of Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora Macdonald captures a romantic Scottish tale. Immortalised in the 1884 "Skye Boat Song," it recounts how, after his defeat at the 1746 Battle of Culloden and with a £30,000 bounty on his head, the Prince was pursued across the Highlands. Flora Macdonald aided his daring escape, ultimately leading him to safety in France.

This vibrant piece, dating from around 1840 to 1900, remains in good condition. It features some crazing and paint fading, which contribute to its authentic character. Measuring 36cm in height.
