Naked Candle Company - Rose Velvet & Oudh

We adore The Naked Candle Company! This a Soy Wax candle which means it burns longer and cleaner - with a total 45 hours burn time.  Made in small batches by a family run Manchester business, their range runs the avenue of scents that all candle makers today do, but they do it better. 

But this  "Rose Velvet & Oudh" is our very favourite and a best seller.  Officially described by the Naked's as "rose, geranium, jasmine, clove and praline resting on a rich velvety base of cedar wood" of which we agree. The layers are definitely there, what needs to be said is that its truly resinous of rose.   Many scents claim to be rosey and with it take too much license, using the rose in vain by blending it into some feint resemblance. This shoots from the hip....and yes theres velvet too. Romantic and nostalgic it is both powdery and musky and it scents the courtyard outside the shop and smells equally good unlit.

From late May, our HQ and shop has garden grown roses and rose geraniums in vases everywhere, but at all other times throughout the year we have one of these candles to hand to take a breath and remember.

For best results burn 3-4 hours at a time
