Spode Fitzhugh Jug

Copeland Spode Fitzhugh Jug, C1920.  Inspired by hand paintings of the orient and carrying the name of the director of the British East India Company - Thomas Fitzhugh. Plenty of detail adorns this jug, with a double plaited handle giving it a nice feel to handle, embossed flowers and a repeat front and back pattern.

In very good condition, pin prick chip to base unnoticeable until you turn it over .

18.5 cm tall, 11.5 cm at base.
