Staffordshire Figure - Prince

"Prince" is a lovely example of British Folk Art from the 19th & 20th century, a popular and affordable decorative item of its day. They depicted characters famous and fictional and told stories through ceramics. Many many examples exist but the hand finish will make for interesting character differences.  This is the chubby faced  red lipped "Prince"  .Some crazing but the robustness of the design means it remains intact. It would  looks fabulous amongst a vase of flowers behind any mirror.
